MEMORY
PICTURES

The scenery was picturesque. Seeing the pacific ocean for the first time reminded me of playing computer games that were probably developed there in California.

My parents wanted to commemorate the moment, but my brother forgot the camera.

"Oh, Brian!"

"S-o-r-r-y!" he pouted.

I walked along the beach. When he caught up with me his face was still bleary. "It's alright Brian, they're making too much of a big deal about it. All that really matters is that we're here."

He didn't respond. Instead he crouched down to the dark, iron-saturated sand and began to draw. The minimal, cartoony lines turned into a camera with its flash going off.
