**THE STORY OF THE INVENTION OF THE MACHINE BOOK** when mandy destroyed the akashik record it was a sad thing to see. however, the characters were not destroyed, she just fragmented the text, (IN THE DREAM when i visited it it was a strange parlor with all these human-objects, humanlike mannequins wiht many joints and control points run around on rails and controlled by strings to go about patterns of business. it was all somewhat randomized activity by a machine in the back. there was also a man with a white beard. he ran the operation. the "people" would eat ice cream, go roller blading, make out, etc. everything was recorded onto a large sheet of paper that kept rolling by. all kinds of textual symbols that represented what was happening, i think they were being written down as they were happening, but may have been read from those same sheets. or both?!?! she seemed to know she was in volved in the creation of something new. when she does things she acts on base lowlevel operations, not low as in bad, but below, underneath the operations of most people. she went into the akashik record and cut the paper into pieces off the spools. the record was re started but the old pieces have to be reassembled the original order is unattainable a new order must be achieved in some form MACHINE BOOK was born.
